Caldera's Unix buy: Step one in Linux plan
"The code should build out of the box on the three "standard" platforms - Linux/x86, Solaris/sparc and win32/x86 - as well as on Linux/ppc and Solaris/x86. Work on porting to several platforms is ongoing and the ports will probably see code inmprovements in the OO619B timeline."

E-smith to Microsoft: Au contraire, Mr. Allchin
"There's really no need for Bill Gates and his people to fear the loss of their intellectual property," e-smith CEO Joseph Morrison said. "The truth is, we don't want their code. Why would we, when we already have something that's much better for our customers?"
"Business Ethics" in the Open Source community?

Loophole in the GPL?
"The following hypothetical is a possible way that an unscrupulous company can bypass the restrictions of the general public license (GPL). I'd love to hear from anyone that can find a flaw in the argument."
