Stratus preps high availability Linux port

Boston-based recruitment consultant Hollister Associates is looking for a technical project leader, to lead a team of four engineers "to design and develop a fault tolerant version of Linux on Stratus' Fault Tolerant IA-32 architecture".

GFS v4.1.1 released

The newer releases (4.1+) utilize LVBs and the older releases (4.0.1 and prior) do not which leads to a situation where GFS filesystems created before 4.1 need to be updated/upgraded to support this feature (i.e. pre-4.1 created GFS filesystems are not compatible with GFS v4.1+ unless they are update/upgraded).

SuSE Linux firewall on CD
